We in the Kuwait Federation of Kyokushin Karate are proud to announce that we have recived from Japan the kanji (Japanese characters) calligraphy of the Star of Lion Dojo (shishi no hoshi dojo).

We would like to thank Ko-Shou the Japanese artist for the hard work and effort in producing this outstanding kanji and Sensei Yuki Yamamoto for their assistance and providing us with the Japanese translation.

The Star of Lion Dojo is established by Senpai Ali Al-Manaseer as a member of the Kuwait Federation of Kyokushin Karate.

(shishi) meaning a lion, (hoshi) meaning star (no) meaning ~ of .

The Star of Lion dojo logo has in its centre a warrior lion with a star. This lion symbol is taken from the name of the dormitory for the young Kyokushin it was called (waka shishi ryou) that translates into (young lion dormitory) who after years of blood, sweat and tears in training became stars of kyokushin.
